Box Situation

The box of this device comes in white color with the phone’s picture and branding on the front and on the remaining sides, the specifications and other details are mentioned.

Design

The design of this phone is going to be another unique selling point apart from the price tag. It comes with durable plastic body. The fingerprint sensor is present at the back with the camera box above it which houses two cameras of 8 MP and a QVGA sensor of 0.3 MP.

On the bottom side, there is a headphone jack and a micro USB port. Intrestingly the speaker is present on the top side of the phone. On the right sidem, you will get volume rocker keys along with the lock button. The SIM tray is present on the left side which can be popped out using SIM ejector tool.

The cameras of this phone is what you can expect from a entry level budget phone. The back camera of this phone is of 8 MP along with a 0.3 MP QVGA sensor which can record videos at 1080p with 30fps. The front camera is of 5 MP which can also record at 1080p with 30fps.

Both of the front and back cameras produces average to good results in the daylight but during night time their performance falls below average sometimes.

Battery

The battery of this phone is of 5000 mAh which can provide you a long lasting backup with one time charge. Due to less RAM, under powered GPU and chipset and GO edition of android, the battery can last upto two to three days with normal usage.

The charging speed isn’t good to be fast as it comes with a 10W charger out of the box. It might take upto 2 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100%.

Redmi A1+ comes with an IPS LCD panel with a screen size of 6.53 inches. The screen to body ratio is 81% with prominent chin and bezels. Resolution of this phone is HD+ 720×1600 pixels with 400 nits peak brightness for a good daylight visibility.

The processor used in this phone is MediaTek’s Helio A22 which is a 4 years old chipset. It has four cores with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz. The internals of this phone are the lowest which a user can expect in this price range. It comes with a 32 GB internal storage along with 2 GB RAM. But luckily you aren’t going to stick with 32 GB for storing data, you can also expand the memory through a dedicated micro SD card slot present in the SIM tray.

Sensors
